This is an image built up in Photoshop,
to create an image for the desert being invaded by the western world. The
theme is used for an illustration in the book "Alice in Wellwitcha Land".
The style of this is from the 70's slight
hint of "Meatloaf". The background is for a Music Shop background.
The images in the background are flames and drain pipes. Simple but effective.
Inspiration for this image was the 2nd
Gulf War and the spread of Americanism or the life style forced on another
country, in a symbolic way.
This is a statement not for any particular
side of the Gulf Incursion. However, the poetry of the image is open the viewers
mind to all answers and maybe new questions.
